Shugankala Foundation

Our office for Shugankala Foundation is located at G-7 in Vijay Nagar. It is a pretty standard spot in a residential part of the neighborhood. We liked the idea of being in Vijay Nagar because it is easy for people to find us without having to deal with the heavy traffic of the main city center. The office is really just a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and do our daily paperwork. We have a small porch where we sometimes sit in the evenings when the weather is nice enough to be outside. Inside, the shelves are packed with all sorts of books and things we have collected over time. We are not big on fancy office furniture, so we just use the chairs and desks we already had. Most of the people who work here live close by, so we often walk to work in the mornings. It gives us a good chance to see what is happening in the streets before we start our day. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the week, and there is not really a typical day for us. One day we might be filing reports, and the next we are helping out with something else that came up. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It is just us doing the work that needs to be done. We keep things humble and focus on being present in the community. It is a good place to be, and we are happy with the space we have.
