Shri Mati Kalawati Devi Seva Sansthan Foundation

Our foundation is based out of Juggi B-449 and B-58 in the Patel Nagar area, specifically near Rama Road and the Najafgarh Road Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot with lots of factories and trucks moving around all day. The noise is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started out in a very small way here and we haven’t really moved. The space is a bit industrial, not at all like those clean offices you see in the movies. We have concrete floors and some sturdy metal shelves. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all walk or take the bus. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes that means helping a neighbor with paperwork or organizing a small gathering for the local kids. It’s very hands-on stuff. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just call it work. The office stays open late most days because there’s always something left to finish. We don’t have air conditioning, so we keep the doors open when it's hot. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours. We just try to keep things moving forward one day at a time without making a scene. We focus on the tasks we have on our list and nothing else. It gets dusty, but we don't mind.
