Shikhaastha Welfare Foundation

Our foundation is located at C 531 in Sangam Vihar, which is right near Khanpur. If you know the area, you know it can be a bit crowded and the lanes can get confusing, but we like it here. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s not a polished office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a simple room where we keep our files and meet with people. We mostly deal with the folks who live right here in the neighborhood. There is always someone coming in with a problem or needing some advice on how to get things done. We do our best to help them out without making a big fuss about it. We aren't a huge organization with a lot of funding. It’s more of a small, local effort. Some days are really busy and we barely have time to sit down, while other days are much quieter. We don’t have a website or a big social media presence. We just rely on people telling each other about us. The office can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We just want to be a place where people feel they can come when they need something. It’s straightforward work and we just take it one day at a time. The door is usually open if you’re looking for us.
