Shaagird Foundation

You can find the Shaagird Foundation over in Karawal Nagar. We are located at H No 339, specifically Property No 87. It’s on the ground floor, which is nice because we don't have to climb any stairs. The office is right on the main 25 ft road in Shiv Vihar. It’s a very active neighborhood, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. The word "Shaagird" means a student or an apprentice. We picked that name because we feel like we are always learning something new from the people we meet. We aren’t experts who think they know everything. North East Delhi has a lot of energy, and being on a main road means we see it all. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs, a few tables, and a lot of passion for what we do. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but that is just part of being in this area. We don't use a lot of big words to explain ourselves. We just do the work. It’s not about being the biggest foundation out there. We just want to help out in our own community. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to stop by and say hello. We like it that way. It keeps us connected to the street and the real world outside.
