You can find us at House number 247 on the fourth floor in Nehru Vihar. It’s quite a climb up the stairs, but the view of the neighborhood is okay. We’ve been in North Delhi for a while now. The main goal for us is just helping people stand on their own two feet. It’s a slow process. We spend a lot of time teaching skills or just talking through problems with people. The office is small and usually has someone sitting in every corner. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. Just some tables and chairs and a lot of patience. Nehru Vihar is a place with a lot of energy, and we try to tap into that. Sometimes we fail at things, and we have to try a different way. That’s just how it goes when you’re working with people. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth. Someone tells a neighbor, and then they show up at our door. We like it that way. It feels more real. We are just trying to help our neighbors get a bit further ahead. It’s not always easy work, and some days are better than others. We just keep the door open and keep trying. Being up on the fourth floor keeps us a bit away from the street noise, which helps us focus on the people who come to see us.
