Our place is in the Awas Vikas Colony in Farrukhabad. We’ve been at 1/222 L.I.G. for a long time now. It’s a regular neighborhood where everyone knows each other. We work with scales and electronic equipment. It's a hands-on kind of job. You’ll often find us surrounded by parts and tools. The shop isn't very large, but it's enough for what we do. We get people coming in with all sorts of repairs or looking for something specific for their own businesses. Farrukhabad is a place where word of mouth matters more than anything else. We just try to do a decent job every day. The morning starts with opening the shutters and cleaning off the dust from the shelves. It gets a bit crowded inside when we have a lot of equipment waiting to be fixed or calibrated. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves with parts and a workbench where the real work happens. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's slow and watch the street. It's a simple life running a local business. We've been in this colony so long that the building feels like a second home. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever comes through the door. It might be an old scale or a new electronic system. We take it one piece at a time. It’s not about being the biggest, it’s just about being here and being reliable for the people in Awas Vikas.
