Satya Narayan Prasad Foundation is located at House No-67 in Block-Ru of Pitampura. This is a residential area, so it’s got a different feel than the commercial hubs. Being in New Delhi, you expect some noise, but our street is usually okay except for the morning vegetable sellers. The house is where we run everything from. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who are here pretty regularly and drink way too much chai. We use the main rooms for our work, and there’s always a stack of files somewhere that needs looking at. We’ve lived and worked in Pitampura for a long time, so we know the area well. It’s a solid, brick-and-mortar kind of place. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that. We’d rather just have a functional space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the neighbors pop by to say hello, which is nice and keeps us connected. We keep a fairly standard schedule, opening up in the morning and staying until the work is finished. It’s a lot of quiet effort. The block is easy enough to find if you know Pitampura. We’ve got a small sign out front so people know they’re at the right house. It’s just a plain, honest operation running out of a home, which keeps things simple and direct for everyone involved. We try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit cluttered sometimes when we're busy.
