Satya Bharti Foundation

Our office is at Bharti Crescent, number 1, on Nelson Mandela Road. It’s in Vasant Kunj, Phase II. It’s a pretty well-known area in South Delhi. Satya Bharti Foundation has a decent spot here. It’s easy for people to give directions to since it's a main road. Even though the address sounds a bit formal, inside it’s just a regular workplace like any other. We have desks, chairs, and usually too many coffee mugs lying around. Nelson Mandela Road is usually packed with cars, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the neighborhood. It’s a bit more open and green than some other parts of Delhi, which is nice. We spend our days mostly at our computers or in small meetings. We don't really do the whole corporate hierarchy thing here. Everyone just chips in where they can. If the printer jams or the water cooler is empty, we all take a turn trying to fix it. It’s a very practical environment to work in. We don't have those big motivational posters on the walls. We just have our calendars and a lot of handwritten notes. It feels like a real place where work actually gets done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to stay focused on the tasks we have in front of us every day.
