Satija Provision Store

Satija Provision Store is right in the middle of Netaji Nagar Market at number 41. Sarojini Nagar is just nearby so the whole area is always full of people looking for things. We are more of a local spot for the families living in the government quarters around Netaji Nagar. Our shop is small but we cram a lot of stuff onto the shelves. You’ll find pulses, spices, and all the household basics. We’ve been at number 41 for many years now. The counter is worn down from all the bags being dragged across it. We know most of our customers by their names and what they usually buy every month. People talk a lot here while they wait. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait because the aisle is too narrow for more than two people at once. The morning rush is the busiest when everyone wants their milk and bread. We keep a ledger for the regulars who pay at the end of the month. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on high speed. It’s just a normal provision store. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just the yellow bulbs and the smell of open spice bags. Netaji Nagar Market is our home. We open early and stay until the last person finishes their shopping for dinner. It’s a steady life at Satija Provision Store.
