Sarvavyapi Sawarn Samaj Foundation

We are based out of a small flat in Bakkarwala, specifically Flat No- 829 in the Lok Nayak Puram area. It is on the third floor so there are a few stairs to climb before you reach our door. This place is pretty busy because it is right in the middle of Pocket C. We have been here for a bit now, running the Sarvavyapi Sawarn Samaj Foundation from this room. It is not a very big office, just some desks and old chairs where we sit and talk to people who come by. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when everyone is walking around the complex. The neighborhood is mostly families so it feels very safe and local. We do not have any big signs out front, just the address which is C/O FLAT NO- 829, T/F LOK NANYAK PURAMDDA FLAT PKT C BAKKARWALA NEW DELHI 110041. People usually find us by asking the neighbors or looking for the DDA flats. Sometimes the hallway is a bit dark if the bulb is out but we are always inside working. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down on paper. It is just a normal office where we try to get things done for the community. We drink a lot of tea while we work and the windows stay open to let some air in. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do every day.
