We are located over in Sawitri Nagar, which is right next to Malviya Nagar. S N D Placement Pvt Ltd has an office at 208 A/1 on the 2nd floor. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here for a good while. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are searching for work. We started this because we saw how many people needed jobs in this city. It is a small operation. Most of the day is just us making phone calls and trying to see if we can match someone with a vacancy. It isn't always easy. Some days the phone won't stop ringing and other days it is very quiet. We don't use any fancy computer systems for the matching, just our own memory and knowing what local offices are looking for. The neighborhood is actually quite peaceful compared to the main market area. We have had all sorts of people come through our door over the years. Some are just kids starting their first job, others are older folks looking for a change. We try to listen to what they need and give them a fair chance. It involves a lot of following up with companies to see if they have hired anyone yet. We just keep at it every day. No big ads or anything, just people seeing our sign and coming in to talk to us about their future.
