S M K C International is located over at 67, Shyam Nagar. We are pretty close to the Chandiwala Estate, right in the heart of the Okhla Industrial Estate area. It is an industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. Our building isn’t anything special to look at, but it works for what we do. We deal with international stuff, which sounds big, but mostly it is just us sitting at our desks and making sure shipments go where they are supposed to go. Most days are spent on the phone or checking stacks of paperwork. It gets pretty dusty out here in Shyam Nagar sometimes. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. No one wears a suit or a tie here. We just come in, do the work, and head home to our families. It is a practical way to run things. Being near the Chandiwala Estate makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic in Okhla can be a bit of a mess in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the daily tasks. We do not really do fancy brochures or big speeches about ourselves. If something needs to be moved or sent out, we just handle it and move on to the next thing on the list.
