We are up on the 3rd floor here in Karol Bagh, tucked away in Gali No. 20 on the left-hand side. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around constantly. It is not the easiest place to find if you are new to the area, but we have been in this spot for a while now. Most days are just spent handling different pieces of gold and keeping track of orders that come through. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying stuff up and down takes some effort every morning. It is usually pretty noisy outside with the rickshaws and vendors, but once you get inside the office, things settle down a bit. We just focus on the work at hand, making sure everything is accounted for. There is no big showroom or fancy lights here, just some desks and the tools we need to get through the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of living and working in this neighborhood. We usually grab tea from the stall downstairs around eleven. It is a simple setup where everyone knows their job. We do not spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty because the work is what matters most to us at the end of the day.
