Our store is tucked away in Street Number 12 in New Usmanpur, right over in the 1st Pusta area of Shahdara. We are quite close to Kalra Store, which is a big landmark for people around here. It’s a typical neighborhood shop where things are piled up on shelves and we know most of the people who walk through the door. We sell a variety of everyday items that folks in the area need. The space is a bit tight because we try to stock as much as possible to be helpful. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for behind the counter. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people heading to work. We open up early in the morning and usually stay until the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, mostly just checking the stock and chatting with the regulars about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been here at C-375/3 for quite some time. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, and the fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. It’s a humble spot, but it’s where we spend all our time. We just try to keep the shelves full and the service honest for everyone nearby.
