You can find us right near the City School in Kolipora, Khanyar. It’s an old part of Srinagar with narrow streets and lots of history. S And S Cold Chain Private Limited is our small business where we focus on refrigeration and keeping goods at the right temperature. Being near the school means it gets very loud when the bells ring and the kids head home, but we like the energy. Our facility is at number 117. We don’t have a lot of space, but we use what we have very efficiently. It’s mostly about the machinery and making sure everything stays cold, especially during the humid months. We aren't some big international corporation with a shiny headquarters. We are just local people who saw that there wasn't enough cold storage in this neighborhood. We spent a lot of time getting the compressors and the insulation right. Sometimes things break down and we have to stay up all night fixing them, but that’s part of the job. We don’t do much advertising; most people find us because they know someone who works here. It is a practical business that serves the local shops and traders. We take pride in just being reliable and keeping our doors open for the community when they need us.
