You can find us at C 49 on Gyan Mandir Road, which is part of the Jaitpur Extension in Badarpur. This part of New Delhi is always moving, and our office is right there in the thick of it. We do skill assessments here. That means people come in to show us what they can actually do, like technical work or trade skills, and we write it all down. The office isn’t much to look at, just a functional space with some desks and a lot of record books. There is often dust coming in from the road because of the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables. It’s a practical job. We see a lot of different workers every day, some looking for certificates and others just wanting to know how they measure up. We keep a steady pace and try to get through the pile of assessments by the end of the week. It’s a local operation and we know most of the people who drop by. We don't use any high-tech systems that don't work, just basic methods to get the testing done right. If you’re coming from the main Badarpur side, it takes a bit of time because of the narrow streets. We usually have the fan going at full speed during the summer months. It’s just a regular workplace where we focus on the task in front of us.
