Res Cum Clinic

We’ve been operating out of D 3/3336 in Vasant Kunj for some time. It’s basically a residence that we also use as a clinic, hence the name Res Cum Clinic. It works for us because we’re always around. It’s not one of those big, cold medical buildings you see in the city center. It feels more like a home because it is one. You walk in and it’s just a normal setup. We keep the waiting area small but functional. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat. Vasant Kunj is a quiet enough area, so it's mostly locals who stop in. We don't have big signs everywhere. You just have to know the house number. We handle the daily stuff, routine check-ups, things like that. The floors get mopped every morning before the first person arrives. I usually have my tea while looking at the schedule. It's not a complicated operation. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up between the house mail and the clinic mail, but we sort it out eventually. The kitchen is just down the hall from the exam room, so you can often smell whatever is cooking for lunch. It makes the place feel less like a doctor’s office. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how everything works. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger place, but this works for now. It’s manageable. We know the plumbing quirks and which light switches are a bit finicky.
