We’ve been at L 11 in Malviya Nagar for quite some time now. Rajeev Kakkar Associates Chartered Accountants is just a small place where we handle tax filings and audits for people around New Delhi. It usually gets really crowded around the end of the financial year. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a few desks and a lot of cabinets filled with files. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and making sure all the numbers line up. Being in Malviya Nagar means there’s always a lot of noise outside, from the markets and the people passing by. We get a lot of local business owners who just want someone to help them with their GST or income tax. We try to keep things as simple as possible because the rules are already complicated enough. I’ve been doing this for years, and most of our clients are people I’ve known for a long time. They just walk in, drop off their papers, and we have a quick chat. It’s not a corporate vibe here at all. Sometimes we have tea while we work through the stacks of paper. The lighting in the office could be better, and the chairs are a bit old, but they get the job done. We just focus on the books and try to stay organized. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t really do any big advertising because we’re just a local spot that people know.
