Rajasthan Super Kirana Store

We are located at 382/4 in Kotla Mubarakpur, specifically in the Punjabi Bazar area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our kirana store is right in the middle of it all. We have bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, and all the spices you need for daily cooking. The shop name mentions Rajasthan, and we do try to keep some of those traditional tastes available. The store is packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like there’s barely enough room for two people to pass each other in the aisle. We have a lot of regular customers who have been buying from us since we first opened. The noise from the market outside is constant, with people shouting and scooters honking all day long. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our daily reality. We spend a lot of time weighing out items on the scale and tying up plastic bags. The heat in the summer makes the shop feel even smaller, but we just keep the ceiling fan going. It’s a lot of heavy lifting when the sacks of flour arrive. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk in. It’s an honest way to make a living in the heart of Delhi.
