R K Hot And Spices is tucked into Shop Number 7/9 on Mehrauli Road. Being near Gaushala Mandir in Vasant Kunj means we see a lot of people heading to the temple or just going about their day in Delhi. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with the smell of whatever we’ve got going that day. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end spots you see in the malls. It’s a local place. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and we’re constantly cleaning the counters. We deal with spices and hot food, so the air usually has a bit of a kick to it. Most of the regulars know us by name now. We’ve been at this for a bit, just trying to keep the shelves stocked and the food ready. The traffic on Mehrauli Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but it brings people in. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure everything is handled right.
