R J Arts

Our shop, R J Arts, is tucked away in Sher Singh Bazar, which is a busy little market area in Kotla Mubarakpur. The shop number is 25, and the full address is 1736/2 on Gurudwara Road. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t used to the narrow streets of Delhi. We are quite close to South Extension Part 1, but the vibe here is much more like a traditional local market. There are shops selling everything from clothes to hardware all around us. It gets really crowded, especially in the afternoons when the shoppers start coming in. The shop itself is small and packed with our things, so there isn't a lot of extra space to move around. We like it that way because everything we need is within reach. It’s a bit old-fashioned, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend most of our day right here, dealing with whoever walks in off the street. Sometimes we just sit outside on a stool and watch the people go by when it’s slow. It’s a lively place to be, even if it’s a bit loud and dusty. We’ve been part of this bazaar for a long time and know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It is just a normal shop.
