Artlife Delhi

Our small spot here in Pitampura is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It is located in Saraswati Vihar, specifically at C 378. It is a fairly quiet residential block for the most part, which makes it a nice place to get work done without all the noise from the main roads. We started Artlife Delhi because we needed a dedicated space to keep our supplies and show some of the things we do. It is definitely not a corporate office. There are stacks of paper and bottles of ink sitting on almost every flat surface. Sometimes the delivery guys have a bit of a hard time finding the exact house number because the lanes in this part of Pitampura can be confusing if you are not from around here. We have lived in Delhi for years and this corner feels like home to us now. We see the same neighbors every morning when we pull up the shutters. It is a simple setup with a couple of wooden tables and some mismatched chairs for anyone who drops by. We do not spend money on big signs or fancy advertising. Most people who come in are just living nearby and saw us while they were out for a walk. We do what we can with the space we have. The old air conditioner hums a lot during the summer, but it keeps the work from getting ruined by the heat.
