Praveen Dutta Co Chartered Accountant

This is House No 369 in Sector 9, Rkpuram. I set up Praveen Dutta Co here because I wanted to be somewhere quiet and familiar. New Delhi can be very loud and fast, but this part of Sector 9 stays a bit calmer compared to the main markets. I am a Chartered Accountant, but I don't run one of those giant firms with glass walls and hundred-dollar chairs. It is just a regular house where I do my work. You walk in, and it feels like a home because that is what it is. I have my files stacked up and my computer on a plain desk. Most of my day is spent looking at numbers and tax forms. It is dry work for some, but I like the logic of it. People from around the neighborhood come by when they have a problem with their filings or just need some advice on their accounts. I don't use any complicated jargon if I can help it. I just explain things as they are. Sometimes my family is in the other room, and you might hear the tea kettle or the TV, but that is just life. It is a practical way to work without all the corporate stress. I've lived in Delhi a long time, so I know how people here like to do business face-to-face. It is about getting the taxes done right and staying out of trouble with the department.
