We are based in Jagatpuri, right in Anar Kali Garden at A/17 Gali No 1. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful if you’re driving a car. Most of us just walk or take a scooter to get in. We work on agro genetics, which is mostly about seeds and how plants grow. Our office is just a regular building. It’s not some big laboratory you see on TV. We have shelves filled with different seed packets and old files from years ago. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there’s always something else to do. Being in Delhi 110051 means we are right in the thick of the local life. You can hear the kids playing outside and the vegetable sellers calling out. We like that. It keeps us grounded. We don’t have a big team of experts in suits. It’s just a few of us who have been around the block a few times. We spend a lot of time checking on the quality of what we handle. Sometimes we get frustrated when things don't go as planned, but that's just part of the job. We aren't trying to change the world overnight. We just want to provide decent seeds and keep the business running. It’s a simple life and we are happy with it here in Jagatpuri.
