Non-Violence Planet Future Private Limited is located over in Uttam Nagar. Our spot is at D-1/48-B on the ground floor in the Kh. No.-16/22 area of Jeewan Park. We started this because we wanted to do something for the future that made sense to us. It is not a big corporate office with glass walls. It is just a regular room where we sit and plan our next steps. We think a lot about the planet and how things are changing these days. Most of our work is about local issues and talking to people in the neighborhood. Sometimes we have meetings that go on way too long. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people going about their business. Delhi life is just like that. Our work is much quieter. We try to figure out ways to make things better without making a big fuss about it. It is hard to explain every single thing we do in just a few words. It involves a lot of paperwork and even more talking. We are not trying to change the whole world overnight. We are just doing our bit from this small corner in New Delhi. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby. We just clean it up and get back to our tasks. Some days we have more volunteers than others and it gets a bit crowded. We do not even have a big sign outside. It is a practical place where we focus on getting things done. (259 words)
