The rooms here at Janakpuri 15 are almost always full of people. We’ve been running this institute for a while now and the desks are starting to show a bit of wear and tear on the edges. There is a tea stall just down the road where everyone goes during the break times. Sometimes the students stay late to finish their work and I have to remind them that I need to lock up and go home to my family. The whiteboards always have some leftovers of yesterday’s lessons because the erasers aren't that great anymore. It can get quite hot in the afternoons during the summer months, even with the fans going full speed. We try to keep the books organized on the shelves, but they always end up in a mess by Friday afternoon. I usually get here early to open the windows and let some air in before the first batch arrives. It’s not a huge building, just a few rooms tucked away, but it’s easy enough to find if you know the area. We don't spend much on decorations or anything like that. The focus is just on the classes and making sure everyone has a place to sit. Some days are quieter than others, especially when there are holidays or heavy rain. I’ve seen a lot of students come and go over the years, and some still stop by to say hello when they are passing through the neighborhood.
