Oxford College

Being located at 80 Meenakshi Garden means we are right in the thick of things in Delhi. We are situated just behind the Subhash Nagar Metro Station in Tilak Nagar, which is a very busy spot. You can always hear the sound of the metro trains passing by or the traffic on the main road. Because of the location, it is quite easy for students to get here from different parts of the city. The college itself is tucked away a bit, so it provides a little break from the chaos of the street. Inside, it is just like any other college with students rushing to their next lecture or hanging out in the corridors. We have people from all walks of life coming through our doors every day. It’s a very urban setting, so everything feels a bit fast-paced. The building is a standard city structure, not very big but we use the space we have. There isn't much in the way of green space, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. Students usually grab a snack from the local vendors outside during their breaks. It is a practical place for people living in the city who need to balance their studies with a long commute or other jobs. We just keep the doors open and the classes running as they should. It can get loud sometimes with all the city noise, but everyone is used to it by now.
