Omega Sales

We have been sitting in this spot at 6/693 Lodhi Colony for a good number of years now. It is a part of New Delhi that has its own rhythm, you know. Most mornings, we show up and unlock the door at Omega Sales and just get to work. It is not some big glass building with a lobby. We have some desks, a few chairs that could probably use replacing, and plenty of paperwork. The address 110003 is easy enough to find once you are in the neighborhood. Some days the traffic outside is loud enough to drown out the phone, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who walk in. It’s mostly just us doing what we do every day. There is a tea shop just down the street where we get our morning chai. It helps start the day right. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside so we have to wipe down the tables more often than I’d like. We don’t have any fancy posters on the walls. Just the calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. It feels like a real place because it is. We are just here in the middle of the colony, keeping things moving along. It gets pretty quiet in the late afternoon when the sun hits the front window. That’s usually when we catch up on the filing and think about heading home.
