Nidhi Creation

Nidhi Creation is right in the middle of the bustle at 2849/5 in Chuna Mandi. If you have ever been to Paharganj, you know how crowded and loud the streets can get, and our little spot is no different. We are surrounded by all kinds of shops and people constantly moving back and forth through the narrow lanes. The building at 2849/5 has been our base for a while now, and even though it is a bit of a tight squeeze inside, it works for what we do. There is always a lot of dust from the street and the sound of rickshaws honking right outside the door, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We keep our supplies stacked up against the walls and try to make the most of every inch of space we have. It is not a place where you will find anything polished or corporate; it is just a working shop where we spend our hours making things. The light in the afternoon hits the front of the shop in a certain way that makes it feel very warm. We often share tea with the shopkeepers next door and talk about how busy the season is. It is a very human way to work, being right in the heart of Chuna Mandi where everyone is trying to get something done. We don't put on any acts here, we just show up and do the work that is waiting for us on the table.
