Nidd - National Institute Of Design & Development

You’ll find us in Preet Vihar, right on the Main Vikas Marg. It’s a pretty central location which makes it easy for everyone to get to. We go by Nidd, or the National Institute of Design & Development. Most of what happens here involves teaching people the ropes of design or working on specific development projects. It’s a bit different from a standard office because there’s always someone learning something new or trying out a different design software. The atmosphere is usually quite busy, especially in the afternoons when more people are around. We’ve been in Preet Vihar for a long time and have seen the shops around us change quite a bit. We don’t have any polished sales pitch for you. We just focus on the skills and the work that needs doing. Sometimes the computers act up or we run out of supplies, but we just keep going. It’s a place where people come to get better at what they do. We don't spend much time on decorations; we'd rather have more space for desks and drawing tables. It’s a practical environment for people who actually want to make things and understand how design works in the real world. We just do our best to provide a space where that can happen every day for our students and the team.
