New Link Communication

Tilak Nagar is a busy place and being right near the post office means we see a lot of faces every day. Our shop at No-23/25 is usually the place where people stop by after they’ve finished their business at the post office. We handle various communication needs, mostly things that people can’t do easily at home. The shop is a bit small and the shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from recharge cards to stationery. It’s usually me or my nephew behind the counter. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a bench that’s seen better days. The street noise is constant but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell customers to wait a bit while we restart the modem. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re some big company. People come here because they know we’re right on the corner and we’ve been here for years. The light inside is a bit dim in the evenings but we keep the doors open for the breeze. It's a simple life running a shop in Tilak Nagar. We see kids coming in for sweets and old men wanting to make a quick call or print a letter. There is always a stack of newspapers on the desk for people to read while they wait.
