Adept System Networks

Up on the 4th floor of the Skylark Building in Nehru Place, that’s where we are. Nehru Place is always a madhouse, especially with all the tech shops and people everywhere. Our unit, 404a, is tucked away in the corner. We deal with networks, so there are routers and Ethernet cables draped all over the place. Sometimes it looks like a spider web made of blue and yellow wires. The elevator in the building is usually packed or broken, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s a good workout, I guess. We have a couple of old fans that rattle when they’re on high, but they keep the air moving. People come in from the market looking for networking parts or help with a setup that stopped working. We aren't a big corporation, just a small team trying to keep up with the demand in this area. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep working through it. We’ve got boxes of connectors and tools scattered around our worktables. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. Working in Nehru Place means you never have a dull moment. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s crimping a cable or testing a switch. It’s simple, honest work in the middle of the city's tech hub.
