About National Institute Of Mass Communication – Education in New Delhi
You can find us in New Friends Colony, specifically at Bhara Nagar 84-A. This part of town is usually quite active, which fits what we do here with mass communication. The building has several rooms where we keep the cameras and the recording equipment. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the tripods and the light stands scattered around the floors. Students are always rushing in and out, trying to finish their projects or edit some footage they shot earlier in the day. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of someone practicing their news reading or discussing a script for a short film. The equipment gets used a lot, so things might look a little worn down, but they still work fine. We spend a lot of time just managing the equipment check-outs and making sure everyone gets their turn in the studio. New Friends Colony is a good area because there’s always something interesting to film right outside the front door. We aren't big on fancy titles or formal stuff here. We just like to get our hands on the gear and see what people can make. The desks are covered in notes and old newspapers. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how it goes when you’re working on media stuff. We’ve been at this address for a while and most people in the local area recognize the sign by now.
