N. L. Industry

We run N. L. Industry from our place at Number-Fa-40 in Shivaji Enclave. We’re located near Rajouri Garden, which is a busy part of the city. Being in the enclave means we are tucked away just enough to get some work done without being right in the middle of the main road chaos. We’ve been operating from this building for a while now. It’s a functional space, mostly filled with the things we need for our daily production. There’s usually a bit of dust and the sound of machines or tools going, which is how we like it. It means we’re actually working. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us with our sleeves rolled up, busy with something. We keep it simple. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporate firm. We just want to make sure the items we produce are handled correctly and sent out on time. The neighborhood is mostly other businesses and homes, so it feels very grounded. We eat our lunch together and talk about the day’s tasks. Sometimes the equipment acts up or a delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical way to live and work, and we’ve been doing it this way for years without needing to change much about how we operate.
