Our office is tucked away in the Old Post Office Gali in Shakarpur. If you are looking for B 97A, it is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to find us without climbing a lot of stairs. Being in New Delhi 110092 means we are right in the thick of things every day. N K S Chauhan Associates has been operating from this spot for a good bit of time now. It gets a bit noisy outside with the street traffic and people walking by, but we have gotten used to it. The office is not anything special to look at. We keep it functional with enough chairs for whoever drops by to talk. Sometimes the alley gets a bit crowded, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out. We mostly focus on the tasks at hand and do not spend much time worrying about the decor. Usually, there is a lot of paper moving across the desks. It is a small operation here, just a few of us keeping things organized as best as we can. We do not have a big corporate structure. If you need something, you just talk to whoever is sitting nearest to the door. We try to keep things simple because that is what seems to work best for the people in this neighborhood. Every day is a bit different, depending on what walk-ins we get. We just keep our heads down and get the jobs done.
