Multani Pharmaceutical Ltd

We are right in the middle of everything at H 36, Connaught Place. Multani Pharmaceutical Ltd has been in this spot for quite a while. Being in CP, the noise from the street never really stops. The building is old with high ceilings and heavy doors. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of boxes. We spend the day moving stock around and filling out forms. The desks are old wooden ones and the chairs squeak a bit when you move. It’s a pharmaceutical office, so we have to be careful with the paperwork, but it’s not a fancy corporate setup. There are scuff marks on the walls from all the crates we move. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you walk in, you just see us working. We know the tea seller downstairs very well, and he brings us chai twice a day. The lighting is just those long white tubes that hum a little. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely silent. We don't have any big meetings or posters on the walls. It’s just a practical place to get the business done. Most of us have worked here for years, so we are like a small family. We just handle the orders and make sure the deliveries go out on time. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. That is basically our whole day here in the city.
