Beechams

Beechams is located at M-6 in Connaught Place, which everyone just calls CP. We’ve seen this area change so much over the decades. Back when we first started, things were much quieter, and there weren't nearly as many cars or people rushing around. Now, it’s always crowded with shoppers and tourists. Our shop is one of those older spots with the high ceilings and thick walls that you only find in the colonial buildings here. It’s a bit drafty in the winter and we have to run the fans full blast during the summer months. Being in the M-Block means we get a lot of foot traffic, but most people are just passing through on their way to the metro or a restaurant. We just keep our head down and focus on the daily tasks. There is always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky pipe or a flickering light bulb. We don’t bother with much decoration; the shelves are just filled with our stock, and that’s about it. It’s a practical space for us. Sometimes we stand out by the pillars just to watch the crowds go by for a minute before getting back to work. It’s a long day, starting from the commute in the morning until we lock up late at night. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time and don’t plan on going anywhere else soon.
