M/S Sureka & Co, Chartered Accountants

Our office is over at u-221 on street no. 6 in shakarpur. If you know New Delhi-92, you know it is a packed area with lots of narrow lanes and small businesses. We are chartered accountants working out of this space. It is a bit of a maze to find us the first time, but people manage to get here. The office is small and usually filled with the smell of old paper and printer ink. We do not have a big staff. It is just a few of us handling the accounts for local shops and some individuals. We spend a lot of time on our calculators and checking the GST rules. It is not the most exciting work, but someone has to do it. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people walking by. Sometimes we have to close the door just to hear ourselves think. We are not interested in being a big name. We just want to do the job right so people do not have trouble with their taxes later on. Our desks are usually covered in folders and loose sheets of paper. We try to keep it organized, but during the busy months, it is a struggle. We have been in Shakarpur for years. It is where we started and where we still are. There is no polish here, just plain hard work and trying to stay on top of the regulations. It works for us.
