Our yard and office for Modi Woodspace Pvt Ltd is at Plot No 22 in the Assam Timber Market. That is out in Swarn Park, near Mundka and Nangloi. It is a very dusty and busy area because of all the wood and construction materials moving around. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of timber everywhere. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the small office we have on the plot. It is not a place for fancy clothes. We are usually covered in a bit of sawdust by the end of the day. Mundka is the hub for this kind of work, so we are right where we need to be. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just know our wood and we know our customers. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just driving through the timber market. It is a practical business. We deal with the logs and the boards and the deliveries. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains, but we just keep going. It’s a hardworking atmosphere. We don’t like overcomplicating things. You need wood, we have it at Plot No 22. That is really the long and short of it for us here. We just work hard and try to get the orders delivered on time.
