Mittal Plastic

We have been sitting here at Plot No. 30 in South Anarkali Extension for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are just near the Modarn Public School, so when the kids come out in the afternoon, the whole road gets pretty busy. It is just the way it is in Krishna Nagar. We started Mittal Plastic without much of a plan, just looking for a spot that worked. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it keeps the rain off the machines and gives us enough room to stack the materials. Some days it gets really hot inside, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the front of the plot. We usually have the shutters half-down to keep some of the heat out. The neighbors are mostly alright, everyone just does their own thing. We don't have a big team or anything fancy. It is mostly just keeping track of the orders and making sure the plastic gets moved out on time. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing into the lane because it is a bit narrow, but we manage. You learn how to work around the tight corners after a few years. It's a simple life here, just coming in early, checking the stock, and staying until the work is finished for the day. We don't bother with fancy offices or decorations. The focus is just on the daily tasks and making sure we get everything packed up right.
