We've been over here on the first floor at Plot 319A on Jaat Chaupal Road for a while now. Running Milestone Marine Academy Private Limited keeps us pretty busy. Most days involve talking to folks who want to get into the shipping world or need to brush up on what they already know. It isn’t fancy, just a workspace where we get things done and help people figure out their next steps in the maritime sector. New Delhi is a long way from the actual ocean, which people sometimes joke about, but the work we do here is real. We spend a lot of time looking at manuals and maps in South West Delhi. The office is easy enough to find once you get onto the main road. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the ropes and try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the traffic outside. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and get to it. There’s always someone coming in asking about certifications or how to get started. We try to be straightforward with them. No big speeches, just practical info about the sea and what it takes to work out there. It’s a job like any other, but we like the people we meet. If you're around 110045, you’ve probably passed by our building without thinking much about it. That's fine by us.
