Memory Of Mother Foundation

You can find the Memory Of Mother Foundation over at S-32/257 in the Soniya Gandhi Camp area. It’s right there in Pulpehladpur, South Delhi. We have been working out of this spot for a bit now, and it is a busy little corner of the world. The address is 110044 if you are looking it up on a map. We are just regular people trying to run a foundation without making too much of a fuss. The space is small, and we share it with a lot of files and a few old chairs. It gets pretty hot in the summers, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We named it after our mothers because that felt like the right thing to do. Every day is different here. Some days we are out in the camp talking to neighbors, and other days we are just sitting inside trying to get the books balanced. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just write down what needs to happen and try to get it done by the end of the week. It’s a lot of manual work and plain old talking to people face to face. We aren’t trying to change the whole world, just the little bit we can see from our front door. It feels good to be useful in our own neighborhood and we plan to stay here for a long time.
