Medhavi Welfare Foundation

Medhavi Welfare Foundation is based out of a house in Mohammadpur Village in New Delhi. The address is simply H No. 4-A. If you know Mohammadpur, you know it’s one of those urban villages tucked away within the city. It has a very specific feel to it, different from the planned colonies. Our office is inside this house, so it feels very personal and local. We don’t have a big staff or a multi-story building. It’s just a few of us working from this village location. The streets in Mohammadpur can be quite narrow, and finding House Number 4-A might take a minute if you’re new to the area. We like it here because it keeps us close to the ground. There’s no corporate hierarchy or fancy dress code. We usually just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks we have for the day. The house itself is a standard Delhi structure. It’s got that neighborhood atmosphere where you can hear the sounds of daily life all around you. We spend our time managing the foundation’s activities from the front room. It’s a modest setup, but it’s all we need to stay organized and do our work. Being in a village like Mohammadpur means we are part of a real community, not just an anonymous office block.
