The office is over in Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase 1, specifically on the first floor of W H-2. If you’ve ever walked through Mayapuri, you know it’s a maze of workshops and small factories. We’re right in the middle of all that noise. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, and we’re always telling people to watch their step when they come by. It’s Soclean, which is part of the Hail Mediproducts setup, so the focus is mostly on medical-related items. The space is a bit cramped because we have to store so much stock. It’s not like those shiny offices you see in movies; it’s more about metal shelves and packing tape. Some days it’s quiet, just the sound of typing, but mostly it’s the sound of rolls of plastic being moved or people calling out to each other across the floor. The light coming through the windows isn't great because of the buildings nearby, so we keep the overheads on all day. Lunch is usually someone bringing in parathas or ordering from the local dhabas downstairs. We spend a lot of time on our feet here. It gets quite hot in the summer months, even with the fans going full blast. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the paperwork matches up. It’s a straightforward operation, nothing too complicated, just a lot of moving parts in a busy Delhi hub. Most of us take the bus home.
