If you’re looking for us, we’re in Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2. Plot No. A-131, up on the second floor of a DDA shed. It’s not the easiest place to get to with all the trucks and traffic in Okhla, but it’s a solid area for making things. The stairs are concrete and a bit worn down from years of people carrying heavy loads. Inside, the space is wide open and mostly filled with machines and long work tables. It’s quite noisy when everything is running, and the smell of the industrial area sticks to everything. We don't have a receptionist, so you just walk in and find someone. The walls are just plain brick with some old posters and job schedules taped up. It’s not a place for a fancy meeting, but it’s where the actual work happens. We eat our lunch at the workbenches most days. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we get a bit of a workout. We’ve been in this shed for a long time and we know all the other shop owners nearby. It’s a community of people who just want to get their jobs finished. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just do it. It’s honest work in a busy, dusty part of the city. We keep a stash of tools in the corner and someone is always looking for a hammer.
