Mathor Father

I’m sitting here at D/62 in West Patel Nagar, looking out from the second floor window. This part of Delhi is always moving and loud. We’ve been here at Mathor Father for a while now. It is not some big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the stairs get a bit dusty and the neighbors are noisy, but that is just how it is around here. We started this because we needed something to do that made sense to us. Most days are just spent answering calls or sorting through papers on the desk. West Patel Nagar has changed a lot since we moved in. There are more shops now and the traffic on the main road is getting worse by the month. We usually just have tea around four in the evening and talk about what needs to reach the finish line by tomorrow. It is a simple life. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone writing polished speeches for us. I am just writing this down because people ask what we do. We just work. The fans hum in the background and we keep at it until it is time to lock up and head home. It is honest work and we try to keep things straight with everyone who walks through that door on the second floor. It's just us doing our best in this small space.
