Mangalayatan University

This is our spot in Delhi, over in B Block of Janakpuri. It’s much smaller than the main campus in Mathura, mostly just an office where we handle the city side of things. It’s a busy area, lots of people moving around and cars parked everywhere. We spend most of the day answering phones and talking to parents who want to know about admissions or how to get to the main university. The office is tucked away in the building, and it gets a bit cramped when too many people show up at once. We’ve got some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. Delhi is always noisy outside, so you hear the traffic and the street sellers while we’re trying to sort through the applications. Sometimes we run out of chai or the printer jams, which is just how it goes in a small office. It’s a practical space, not fancy at all. We just focus on getting the forms processed and making sure people have the right directions. Being in Delhi makes it easier for folks who can’t travel all the way out to the university site just to ask a few questions. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the pile of mail that comes in every morning. It’s just a lot of typing and talking most days, but it keeps us busy until it’s time to head home.
