Make Happiness Foundation

We are located at RZ-62-C on the second floor in Vashisht Park. It’s pretty close to Arya Optical, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. This part of New Delhi is filled with narrow lanes and lots of houses built close together. Our office is on the second floor, so there are a few flights of stairs to climb. It’s a modest space, nothing too fancy. We have a few desks, some mismatched chairs, and a small area where we make tea. The windows look out over the roofs of the neighboring buildings. It’s not a great view, but it lets in some natural light during the day. The Make Happiness Foundation is run by just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to stay organized with our paperwork. The neighborhood is usually quite loud with kids playing in the lanes and the sound of scooters zooming by. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We’ve tried to make the place feel a bit more comfortable with a couple of pictures on the wall. It’s a simple, honest place to work. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk straight into the main room where we are all sitting.
