Maharaja Surajmal Welfare Federation

Maharaja Surajmal Welfare Federation is a group of us working from an office on the third floor of 20/52 in Shakti Nagar. It’s right in North Delhi, and the area is usually pretty busy with traffic and people going about their business. We’ve been here for a while now. The building is a bit older, and the climb up to the third floor can be a lot when it’s hot outside, but we’re used to it. Inside, it’s just a basic setup with some desks and plenty of files scattered around. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few local people who know the neighborhood well. We spend our mornings handling paperwork and talking to whoever comes by the office for help. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the schools nearby let out, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the tasks we have for the day. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s honest work. We have a couple of fans to keep the air moving when it gets stuffy. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done without making a big fuss about it.
