Our office is located at U 221 in Street No 6, which is right in the middle of Shakarpur. M S Sureka Co Chartered Accountants has been here in New Delhi 92 for a good while. Tax season is always the busiest time for us, and the office gets pretty chaotic with files and papers everywhere. We are a small group of chartered accountants who just focus on getting the audits and taxes done right. You won't find any marble floors or glass elevators in our building. It’s a plain place with some desks and a lot of calculators. We spend our days looking at ledgers and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes the traffic in Shakarpur makes it hard for people to reach us, but we are usually here until late anyway. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing people. Most of our work comes from folks telling their friends about us. It’s a very local way of doing things. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long hours in March. It’s just honest work. We aren't trying to sound like a big corporate firm from the city center. We are just a local practice trying to keep our clients out of trouble with their paperwork. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of typing, but we are used to it by now.
